Acia Williams has been in the hair industry for 15 years. She has been a Master Educator for 10 years,
preparing future cosmetologists and barber stylists to successfully obtain required credits in theory, study
and practical service for the State Board Examination. She is known for percision cutting skills, innovative techniques and an ability to advise diverse clients n health and wellness. Her inspiration for
versatile styling comes from her creative gift in the vocal arts. She studied vocal classical music at Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts in the nation’s capital. This experience enhanced her attention to
detail work with an experienced eye. She studied cosmetology at the Bennett Career Institute and obtained both cosmetology and instructor certifications; she also has a bachelor’s degree in cosmetology obtained in 2013 from the National Institute of Cosmetology.
She is a Certified Pravana color specialist. She acquired useful techniques from attending Paul Mitchell, Clairol and Farouk classes and is affiliated with the National Beauty Cultural League (NBCL) of Washington, D.C. A master of her craft, Acia keeps up with continuing education, the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fashion scene. With her impeccable attention to detail she enjoys working with clients to come up with a suitable style for their individualized needs. Her precision cutting skills also add to her
creativity when styling hair. She is constantly working on her own innovative techniques, pushing the boundaries of hair.
